Latam officially launched its new direct flight from Buenos Aires to Miami, strengthening connectivity between Argentina and the United States. The flight, operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, will be daily in an unprecedented triangular route for the airline: Santiago de Chile to Buenos Aires and then Buenos Aires to Miami, as reported by company sources to the Argentine News Agency. "It is a source of pride to see this route take off with such a high occupancy rate from day one. It confirms that we are responding to a real need from our customers and that Miami continues to consolidate itself as one of the preferred destinations for Argentines," stated Florencia Scardaccione, Commercial Manager of Latam in Argentina. "We want those who choose to travel with us to have a modern, comfortable, and close experience, and this new service allows us to continue building that value proposition." Furthermore, this inauguration is part of Argentina's incorporation into the joint venture between Latam and Delta Air Lines, which allows for offering more flights, higher frequencies, and better connections by integrating the networks of both companies. With this alliance, customers traveling with Latam on this new direct flight from Buenos Aires to Miami can connect seamlessly to over 200 destinations in the United States and Canada, significantly expanding travel possibilities for both tourism and business. The service is operated with Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, with capacities between 271 and 300 passengers. Some are equipped with the new Recaro R7 Suites in Premium Business, featuring sliding doors and greater privacy, and the renewed Economy Plus cabin with more recline and space. With the launch of this daily operation, Latam estimates it will transport over 170,000 passengers per year, fostering both inbound tourism and commercial flow between the two countries.
